Juan de Ugalde later also (wrongly) known by American settlers as Juan de Uvalde (December 9, 1729 – 1816) was Governor of Coahuila, in modern Mexico. He was also a commanding general of Texas, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Nuevo Santander. He led several military campaigns against Apaches tribes in Texas.
