"It was Noel's ex-wife Meg Mathews who introduced Hooper to the tragic model Kadamba Simmons, a woman described as his "one true love". He lived with her for two years before they split. "Every man desired Kadamba and every woman wanted to be with her," said Hooper subsequently. She was murdered by a subsequent lover, a former Israeli paratrooper. Hooper was said to be heartbroken over her death."
