His music draws deeply from Indian folk and Sufi traditions, blended with pop‑rock and spiritual nirgun influences. He was inspired by the classical musicians Kumar Gandharva, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Bhimsen Joshi, and the qawwali singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
