Kavita Bala (born 1971) is an Indian computer scientist and academic. She is a professor in computer science at Cornell University, and has been appointed the Dean of the Faculty for Computing and Information Science. Her research expertise is in the area of computer vision and computer graphics using deep learning. Some of her work on cloud rendering is the core production engine in Autodesk's cloud renderer.
