He is a batting all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off-break, and occasionally keeps wickets. In the Indian Premier League, he played for Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Daredevils and Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
