Kim Bridgford was an award-winning poet, editor, college professor, fiction writer, and critic. In her poetry, she writes primarily in traditional forms, of which the sonnet is her form of choice. She is the director of Poetry by the Sea: A Global Conference, established in 2014 and first held in May 2015. She directed the West Chester University Poetry Conference from 2010 through 2014.
