I had been through a divorce where I took almost ten years off.
I was married to a producer named William Tennent.
He did not want me working..
Since I started working when I was fourteen I thought “This is great.”
Well it was not great, because you have to stay current.
At that age coming back was really next to impossible.
When I met [William] I was working a lot, but you have to stay current and that was where the ups and downs came from.
So I took that time off and I wish I hadn’t.
But I did, and I don’t really wish that anything was different in my life because it has brought me here. Maybe it was done to help me.""
