Details
Kristian Leach is a former Canadian powerlifter. He holds two Alberta junior powerlifting records in the benchpress and deadlift. In November 2004, Kristian successfully benchpressed 133 kg, and deadlifted 223 kg, to set provincial records in the 67.5 kg weight class. In 2010 the Canadian Powerlifting Union's (CPU) weight class structure was changed. All records set prior to the change were subsequently retired. Accordingly, Kristian Leach's records will not be broken, as his records were set prior to the change in the weight class divisions. Kristian Leach is also a former Canadian junior national champion powerlifter. At the 2004 CPU nationals, Kristian totalled 472.5 kg at a body weight of 66.7 kg. His best successful attempts were: squat 150 kg; benchpress 112.5 kg; deadlift 210 kg.
