Kunta-haji Kishiev (Chechen: Киши КIант Кунт-Хьаж; 1829 or 1830 in Melcha Khi, Chechnya – 1867 in Ustyuzhna, Novgorod Gubernia, now Vologda Oblast, Russia) was Chechen Muslim mystic, the founder of a Sufi branch named Zikrism, and an ideologue of nonviolence and passive resistance. He is often referred as the Chechen Mahatma Gandhi. A follower of the Qadiriyya Sufi order.
