Taylor became a fan of Gregory's Onision YouTube channel in 2011. She tweeted him almost daily for months until he noticed her after his break up with Shiloh in 2012. He tweeted her and they began dating less than a month later. Within a year they became engaged and married behind her parent's back when she turned 18.
In 2016 Lainey and Greg shortly separated. In an Onision Speaks video called "I Betrayed My Wife" Greg admits he crossed the line with Lainey's ex girlfriend, Billie, by doing something she specifically asked him not to do. They went through therapy to try to work it out.
