Rocker Barrie-James O’Neill has admitted he has no idea how he bagged pop beauty Lana Del Rey.
The Kassidy singer has dated the US chart-topper since last year.
But Barrie revealed he is none the wiser as to why she fancies him. He said: “I’m not that bothered at keeping our relationship private.
“Lana is always in the papers, as she’s very busy right now. At the same time, all I can say is she’s an absolute darling, an angel. Her talents frighten me.
“But I still don’t know what she sees in me — I haven’t got a clue.”
Barrie is on the shortlist for this year’s Icon gong at the Scottish Fashion Awards.
Rivals include A-listers Gerard Butler, Tilda Swinton and Doctor Who babe Karen Gillan. But he reckons his wardrobe is full of second-hand gear.
He said: “Everyone on that list probably gets their stuff from names like Versace and here’s me up for an award for wearing my gran’s old jumper.
“Maybe I can start saying I’m with Lana as I’m a fashion icon now, so it’s nae f*****g wonder — that’s going to be my new line.”
