Laura A. Barwegan, Ed.D., is Associate Professor of Education at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. She began teaching at Wheaton in 2002. Prior to her appointment to Wheaton's faculty, Barwegan was the Assistant Dean of Education and Director of the Center for Professional Renewal at Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. Previously she was the University Coordinator of Teacher Certification at Northern Illinois University and a junior high English teacher. Barwegan's research interests include professional development schools and educational psychology.
