Laurence Edwards (born 1967, Suffolk). Through experimenting with the lost wax casting process in his own foundries over a 30-year period, Edwards has developed a language which often fuses figure with landscape and environment. Edwards considers his main medium, bronze, to be ‘art metal’ due to its deep relationship with history, art and culture. Laurence Edwards is represented by the gallery Messums Wiltshire.
