Laurent Chambon (born Laurent Pascal Chambon Guéguen on 22 May 1972 in Châtenay-Malabry France) is a French sociologist and politicologist living in Amsterdam since 1998. Specialist of the question of minorities in politics, he has been elected in the borough of Amsterdam Oud-Zuid for the Dutch Labour Party (Partij van de Arbeid) between March 2006 and May 2010 [1]. He was the only non-Dutch European politician in the Netherlands at the time.
