Li Shijie (Chinese: 李世杰; May 5, 1893 – April 22, 1979), courtesy name Beiping (Chinese: 北屏), was a Chinese military officer and later a political figure. A native of Gaolan County, Gansu, he graduated from the fifth class of the cavalry branch of the Baoding Military Academy and served for many years under Fu Zuoyi. He participated in major military campaigns during the Republican era, including the Northern Expedition and the War of Resistance against Japan, and later held senior administrative and consultative posts in the People’s Republic of China.
