Lincoln Carter Almond (June 16, 1936 – January 3, 2023) was an American attorney and politician who served as the 72nd Governor of Rhode Island from 1995 to 2003. A member of the Republican Party, he previously was the United States Attorney for the District of Rhode Island from 1969 to 1978 and again from 1981 until 1993.
