Lluís Brines i Garcia (or Luis Brines García in Spanish) (Barcelona, 1971) is a Catalan researcher, whose paternal family comes from Simat de la Valldigna (Safor). He is the son of the musician Lluís Brines Selfa. He has lived in Valencian Country since 1989. He is a specialist in Francesc Eiximenis, about whom he wrote his doctoral dissertation. He is the creator of the antiblavers website and was its administrator until 2011. He is also Franciscan tertiary.
