His work focuses on Hymenopteran parasitoids, particularly in the superfamilies Proctotrupoidea, Platygastroidea, and Ceraphronoidea. He is responsible for describing many new species, genera, and families of wasps and has completed revisions for these taxonomic groups throughout his career.
