Jared Leto's love life was thrust into the spotlight in early 2014 as he took award season by storm with fellow nominee and breakout star Lupita Nyong'o. After the two were caught chatting during the Critics' Choice Awards in January, it wasn't long before rumours of a mutual attraction (and possible hookup) between the two started swirling.
It was never confirmed or denied whether Jared and Lupita actually sealed the deal, but their chemistry was undeniable, whether they were presenting together onstage at award shows or hanging out at Paris Fashion Week together. Jared did little to play down the rumours when referred to Lupita as his "future ex-wife" during his acceptance speech at the 2014 Independent Spirit Awards.

"An Oscar romance is blossoming between fellow awards nominees Lupita Nyong’o and Jared Leto.
The pair, who are up for Best Supporting Actress and Actor, were spotted alone together at a table at the intimate Crosby Street Hotel early Wednesday evening.
They were cozying up between attending numerous Fashion Week shows and events, and according to a witness, “They were huddled at a corner table together looking very close.”
Another source said Nyong’o was staying at the Soho hotel for a night after flying into town from LA for Calvin Klein’s fashion show."
