On October 10, 2024, Madison Beer's mother unfollowed Nick Austin on Instagram. The following day, Madison updated that she is right now going through a rough time mentally, and just a few days later Beer and Nick unfollowed each other on Instagram. From then on, rumors have been circulating that they broke up, because of Nick cheating on her. Neither of them has publically spoken about it or confirmed anything. On November 12, 2024, Nick and Madison were seen in Los Angeles together, which debunkd the rumors. After that Beer called him in several interviews her boyfriend. However, while Beer and Austin were often seen throughout 2025 (last time in May), on June 26, 2025, Austin deleted pictures of Beer and him, and after months of no public contact & the erasure of each-other on socials; a photo of Austin with his alleged new partner at a party on a couch together.
