Mahmoud Refaat (Arabic: محمود رفعت, Romanized: Mahmood Rifaat) (born April 25, 1978 in Cairo in Egypt) is a lawyer, politician and writer. He is French-Belgian citizen of Egyptian origin. Refaat is the president of the European Institute of International Law and International Relations in Brussels, Belgium and president of the International Gazette newspaper based in London, United Kingdom, and was the spokesman and campaign manager of Sami Hafez Anan during 2018 Egyptian presidential elections.
