Maia Ann Mereana Lewis MNZM (born 20 June 1970) is a former cricketer and captain of the New Zealand women's cricket team. She played in nine women's Test matches, captaining New Zealand in two of them. She also played over 70 One Day International Games. Whilst playing cricket for New Zealand Maia also represented in Hockey, and Indoor Cricket therefore making her a triple International Athlete. She was born in Christchurch, New Zealand and continues to work in the sportnign industry now residing in Auckland.
