Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy (born 13 November 1949 in Vijayawada) is a popular Telugu writer. He is known for thrilling plots, nearer to natural real life. Malladi Dakshinamurty (father), Malladi Saradamba (mother) are his parents. He is the seventh child to his parents amongst nine!. He graduated from Andhra University in 1969 in commerce faculty. He worked in different private organizations up to 1972. After that he joined as an auditor in Government audit office in Hyderabad. He resigned from his job in 1986 to become a full-time writer. He has published over 150 novels through Lipi publications in the past 32 years.
