Mansoor Amjad (Punjabi منصور امجد , Urdu منصور امجد: born 14 December 1987) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Pakistan national cricket team and Leicestershire Cricket County in England. Amjad belongs to a business family. His father, mother and family members supported him throughout his career and encourage him to play cricket. He first played tape-ball cricket in the streets as a child. He was famous in his town by calling bat and ball boy. He began playing cricket seriously in 1998/99 when he attended Habib Bank mobile coaching scheme camp in Lahore. He began as a leg spin bowler and later developed his batting skills as right hand Batsman. In 2000 Amjad attended trails for the U-15 and got selected for the camp.
