Marek Antoni Nowicki (born 5 March 1953, Siemiatycze) is a human rights lawyer. Nowicki has been a member of the Human Rights Advisory Panel of the United Nations Mission in Kosovo since January 2007, and from January 2008 its president. From July 2000 to December 2005 he was the UN appointed International Ombudsman in Kosovo. Nowicki was a member of the European Commission of Human Rights in Strasbourg from March 1993 until 31 October 1999. From December 1997 to November 1998, he was Vice - President of the Second Chamber of this Commission.
