Maria D. Quiñones-Sánchez (born November 21, 1968) is an American politician who serves on the Philadelphia City Council representing the 7th district. A member of the Democratic Party, she has held office since 2008. She was the first Hispanic elected to the city council. She has frequently clashed with the Democratic Party establishment in the city.
