Jamie, I'm told, had a secret tryst with gorgeous pop diva Mariah Carey just days ago. The pair met in New York City last Tuesday. Mariah had personally requested Britain's best-dressed man to interview her for a BBC O-Zone special.
It's not the first time Jamie, 27, and Mariah have met. Jamie interviewed her earlier this year and, I hear, attended one of her parties in Los Angeles.
After meeting on Tuesday, the pair went their separate ways - or so they would have us believe. Mariah, I'm told, was staying at the Rhiga Royal hotel. Jamie was down the road at the Millennium.
So imagine my spies' surprise when they spotted Jamie with Mariah, 28, inside her chauffeur-driven limo at 7.30am on Wednesday. "Jamie was sitting next to her on the back seat," says my source. "They both looked really smug.
"Who knows what they were getting up to during the night - but it was still strange to see Mariah and Jamie together so early in the morning.
"The car dropped Jamie at his hotel. He looked knackered - I guess it was the jet lag."
