Mark Dennis Devlin (4 February 1948 - 10 March 2005) was the author of Stubborn Child (ISBN 0-6891-1476-1), a critically acclaimed
memoir published in 1985. He died on March 10, 2005. The cause of death was not released but he had battled mental illness, alcoholism, and physical problems for many years. He was 57 years old.
