Mark Evans is a TV presenter and veterinary surgeon. He also works behind the camera as a programme producer. He is currently the chief veterinary advisor to the RSPCA and in 2008 was involved in their decision to pull out of Crufts citing “Dog shows using current breed standards as the main judging criteria actively encourage both the intentional breeding of deformed and disabled dogs and the inbreeding of closely related animals.”
