Mark Karan (born January 13, 1955) is an American guitarist and singer, best known for his long-term work with members of the Grateful Dead in Bob Weir & RatDog (1998–2013), the Other Ones (the first reformation of the Grateful Dead after Jerry Garcia died) in 1998 & 2000, Planet Drum (1999) & Phil & Friends (2012). Mark has also played & toured with Delaney Bramlett, the Rembrandts, Sophie B Hawkins, Dave Mason, Paul Carrack & leads the bands,Jemimah Puddleduck & Mark Karan's Buds.
