Marti Emerald (born 1955) is a California politician and former television journalist. She was a member of the San Diego City Council in San Diego, California. She represented San Diego's Council District 7 from 2008 to 2012 and Council District 9 from 2012 to 2016. She is a Democrat, although City Council positions are officially nonpartisan per California state law.
