Martin James Durkan Sr. (June 30, 1923 – May 29, 2005) was an American politician from the state of Washington. He served in the Washington House of Representatives from 1957 to 1959 and in the State Senate from 1959 to 1975. Durkan also ran unsuccessfully for Governor of Washington in 1972 and the U.S. House of Representatives in 1977.
