ALSO in January, a wide-eyed Martine announced to the world her engagement to the man who stole her virginity, Gareth Cooke.
Speaking at a Paris hotel the couple, who had just moved into a pounds 200,000 lovenest in Essex, told of their plans to one day start a family.
Martine said: "We're level-headed enough to make this relationship work despite my age."
By July, Martine had called off the engagement to a devastated Gareth, blaming work pressures.
