Mary Sojourner (born 1940) is an American novelist, NPR commentator, columnist and environmental and social justice activist. Her writing and her activism have emerged from the Southwestern deserts, cities and rural towns she came to in 1985 - after living and fighting for women's mental health rights in Rochester, New York, in the 1970s and 1980s.
