Mathew David "Mat" Osman (born 9 October 1967) is an English musician, best known as the bassist in the rock band Suede. He studied at the London School of Economics where in 1989, he was awarded a BSc in Economics. Osman and singer Brett Anderson are the only remaining founding members left in Suede.
