Matthieu LeChevalier was in a rock band Full Blown Rose from 2004–2005, with Josephine Conigliaro-lead vocals and Josh Allen-guitarist. He joined band, My Ruin and became the drummer in their band in 2006, with Tairrie B-Lead Vocals, Mick Murphy-Guitar and Chris Lisee-Bass.
