Matti Klaus Juhani Häkkänen (born 21 July 1936) is a Finnish diplomat. He is a Bachelor of Law. He has been Ambassador in Bucharest from 1976 to 1980, Undersecretary of State from 1980 to 1983, Ambassador in The Hague in 1983–1987, Buenos Aires 1987–1988, Paris 1988–1993, Rome 1993–1997 and Lisbon 1997–2001.
