Javine appeared on Series 4 of the Channel 4 programme The Games and began an affair with fellow The Games contestant and West End stage star MC Harvey, then the husband of Mis-Teeq singer Alesha. This led to a well-publicised feud between Javine and UK R&B superstar Jamelia. Jamelia referred to Hylton as `a slag` on Never Mind the Buzzcocks[4], and in an interview for Channel 4`s Popworld she nominated her as `the one person she would like to delete`. Jamelia also mentioned in an interview with a tabloid paper that she feels "Harvey traded in a Bentley for a Skoda".
In 23 February 2008 Javine gave birth to a daughter named Angel Hylton Harvey in St George`s Hospital, Tooting, south London whilst Harvey still being married to Alesha.
