They have a son named Maddow age 7.
Former AC Milan and Tottenham midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng, 29, has married his model girlfriend in a lavish ceremony in her native Italy.
The Ghana-born player, known as Prince, exchanged vows with the TV presenter and Sports Illustrated model at the Stella Maris parish church in Porto Cervo, Sardinia where both Melissa, 30, and their two-year-old son Maddox were christened.
Maddox was page boy for the ceremony, bringing the couple their Tiffany wedding rings.
The bride chose a beaded strapless mermaid gown from Atelier Emé and ahead of the big day, she shared her experience of shopping for her dress in a blog.
'It was an indescribable feeling. Seeing me in a wedding dress has excited me much more than I imagined I looked like a little girl,' she said.
The groom wore a sharp tuxedo from D Sqaured, but opted for an unusual look by wearing loafers but no socks.
It was a long engagement for the couple with four years passing since Prince proposed.

Their big day had already been postponed once as the couple said they wanted Maddox to be old enough to play a part.
And the wedding was said to have been put on hold for a second time earlier this year after the couple experienced a rocky patch.
However, they are now man and wife and Melissa said ahead of the wedding that the ceremony was not crucial for the couple but that they wanted to be married to provide a secure family unit for their son.
Following the ceremony the couple shared a kiss in front of delighted onlookers before climbing into their wedding car.
The reception was held on Petra Ruja beach in a marquee decorated with white candles and flowers overlooking the sea.
Guests were treated to a surprise performance by Italian tenor Andrea Bocceli during the reception, and Melissa looked emotional as she was captured on camera during the song, especially when Prince began to sing along.
Melissa changed into a second dress from Atelier Eme with a mullet hem to cut the five tier cake, emblazoned with the couple's initials and their wedding date in roman numerals.
A fireworks display was the perfect finishing touch to their celebrations.
Prince has previously spoken of his bride as 'the perfect woman'.
'She is beautiful, sexy, smart, and fantastic in the home and very good in the kitchen,' he said.
Melissa and Kevin-Prince have been dating since October 2011, before getting engaged in July of 2012.
Their romance began just one month after Kevin’s divorce from the mother of son Jermaine-Prince was finalised.
The romantic sportsman proposed to the model in Miami, presenting her with a multi-million dollar diamond engagement ring from Damiani.
Melissa has previously raised eyebrows by speaking very openly about their sex life, claiming it was what caused the footabller minor injuries that kept him off the pitch at AC Milan, which at the time left fans very unhappy.
Despite becoming an integral part of the AC Milan’s midfield in 2012, Boateng missed a number of games during the season due to a succession of minor injury problems.
She told Vanity Fair: 'The reason why he is always injured is because we have sex seven to ten times a week.
'I hate foreplay, I want to get straight to the point. My favourite position is on top so I can take control.'
The pair began their honeymoon in Sardinia where they were pictured frolicking in the sea the day after their wedding, and they are now continuing their romantic break in Corsica.
The WAG dated Italian footballer Christian Vieri for five years from 2006 to 2011.
And she hit the headlines over rumours Cristiano Ronaldo was trying to lure her away from Prince by sending her sexy pictures, despite his relationship with Irina Shayk.
