Michael James Paul Arthur FMedSci (born 3 August 1954) is the tenth Provost and President of University College London, having replaced Sir Malcolm Grant in September 2013. Arthur had previously been chairman of the Russell Group of UK universities and the vice-chancellor of the University of Leeds between September 2004 and 2013.
