Michael Dion Bates (born December 19, 1969) is a former two-sport athlete who gained fame as a sprinter who won an Olympic bronze medal in the 200-meter dash in 1992. He also was a five-time Pro Bowl kick returner in the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Arizona.
