Count Michael Sergius von der Schulenburg (born 16 October 1948) is a member of the European Parliament and a German former diplomat with the United Nations and with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Between 2005 and 2012 he worked at the rank of Assistant Secretary-General of the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs and as an Executive Representative for peace missions in Iraq and Sierra Leone.
