Mohammad Javad Iravani (born 1953) is an Iranian economist, academic, and politician who has served as the 4th minister of Economic Affairs and Finance from 1986 to 1989 under the premiership of Mir-Hossein Mousavi. He has been a member of the Expediency Discernment Council since 2005 and deputy of Supervision and Auditing in the Supreme Leader's Office since 2005.
