Mohammed al-Fazari is an Omani author, academic, journalist, and political activist. He is the founder and the editor in chief of Muwatin Media Network. He is known for his reformist political activities and opposition to the government in Oman. Owing to the fact that he did not appease the authorities, al-Fazari has been arrested and jailed many times for explicit or inferred opposition to the Government or its policies.
