Mohammedali Yaseen Taha (Kurdish: محهمهدعهلی یاسین تاها; born 1983) is a Kurdish writer, academic, politician and poet. He presently serves as an advisor to the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, stands as a prominent figure with a diverse and illustrious career. Notably, he served as a Member of the Kurdistan Parliament and held the position of Vice President at Nawroz University. His multifaceted background spans journalism, academia, where he excelled as a university lecturer, and a contribution in publishing his poetry and short stories. He is also an associate researcher at Institute of Social Science (ICS) at the University of Lisbon and founding president of Open Think Tank in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
