Moon Tae-il (Korean: 문태일, born June 14, 1994), known mononymously as Taeil, is a South Korean singer. He was a member of the South Korean boy band NCT from 2016 until 2024, when Korean investigators tied him to a criminal sexual offense. He later pleaded guilty to the aggravated rape of a Chinese tourist and was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison.
