Murkoth Ramunny (15 September 1915 – 9 July 2009) was the youngest son of Moorkoth Kumaran and was also a follower of Sree Narayana Guru like his father. He hailed from a Thiyya family from Thalassery . He was also a good cricketer and a hockey player. He was against the casteism that existed in the Kerala society at that time. It was Sree Narayana Guru's message that inspired him to fight against the inequalities in the society.
