Moses Maladina (born 4 September 1959) is a former Deputy Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea. He currently has various business interests in PNG, New Zealand and throughout the Pacific. He is a qualified Lawyer and Agriculturalist and occupied senior Ministerial portfolios in the PNG Cabinet including being the Minister for Justice and Attorney General, Minister Agriculture, Minister for Public Service, Minister for Internal Security (Police) and Minister for National Planning. Mr Maladina was also the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Air Niugini the National Airline and Flag Carrier of PNG, and represented PNG as High Commissioner in New Zealand. He is a published author which includes his fiction novel ‘Tabu’. Maladina is also a coffee planter and owner of a coffee estate in Baiyer River, Western Highlands Province, and he presently occupies directorship positions in various prominent companies in Papua New Guinea.
