Dr Mukesh Kapila CBE (born 1955) is a Medical professional and professor of Global Health and Humanitarian Affairs at the University of Manchester. He is a specialist in crisis and conflict management, humanitarian affairs, post-conflict and development, and HIV and AIDS. Kapila is also Special Representative for the Aegis Trust for the prevention of crimes against humanity. Kapila is also author of a book titled Against A Tide of Evil, and he is currently writing a new book, A Stranger to Kindness.
