Musa Jafar Qasimli (Azerbaijani: Musa Cəfər oğlu Qasımlı) (born 28 October 1957) is a prominent Azerbaijani historian, doctor of historical sciences, professor, member of the National Assembly (Azerbaijan) (Milli Məcli) by IVth and Vth convocation (2010 - 2015; 2015 –2019) and Director of the Institute of the Caucasus Studies of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (2016), corresponding member of ANAS (2017).
